My middle child does some of the grossest things. A lot of it puts the rest of us off. But she has such thick skin that I'm not certain if what we say even bothers her. This day she decides to lick the car. Gross... Yeh. Like she literally licks the whole side of the car...

"Ewww, that is so gross. What are you doing!!?"

"Stop making fun of me guys!" She yells

"We aren't. Stop doing such gross stuff" her older sister says back.

"Yeh... Gwosss", the younger one cosigns.

So in the midst of all the commotion and such, I decide to lighten the situation by interjecting...

"Babe you do gross things" I say trying to comfort her.

"I know." She says very frank and honest.

"It puts everyone off you know".

"Well that's just who I am MOOOOOOM".

"Well you're my favorite Neemies" I say to her attempting to grab her hand.

"Mom, that makes no sense... I'm the only one". And she flits off unaffected.
