During COVID-19 shelter in place, Amber, Garvey, Naima, and Sofia sat in a closet and held their first family discussion for the Let's K12 Better podcast, "Schooling Through An Apocalypse". From there, the podcast evolved into a year-long, family exploration in to new ideas and group learning around justice, civics, education, race, and family wellness.
