Allow your child's mind to wander through their wonderful creative thoughts.

Tempera Paint is a great medium to help encourage creative exploration and expression.  It dries fast, it washes off easily and it's non-toxic. 

We LOVE using found objects and paint brushes to manipulate the paint on paper.  A few objects we suggest:

• old fork or spoon  
  
• old toothbrush (cleaned)
  
• sponges
  
• wine cork
  
• rubber stamps
  
• crayons
  
• hands or feet
  
• rocks
  
• shells
  
• coins

Painting is therapeutic, it helps with coordination and it expands creativity.  Remain engaged but take the "hands off" approach and observe your child as they express themselves and their ideas.
